The HUB of Durham (Historically Underutilized & Brilliant!)
Martina spent 17 years helping struggling youth from wealth-challenged communities find their gifts and talents and get to high school graduation through the New Horizons Character & Leadership Academy.  She has since turned her attention to the community at large and has launched Save Our Seed, an organization designed to empower people to control their own destiny, to become productive citizens in their communities, and to eliminate the I CAN'T mentality.  Fostering creativity and our innate entrepreneurial spirit is a core piece of Martina's work.  You can connect with her on her website here!

Patricia Mial-Mosley - Single Women With Children, Inc.
Patricia started Single Women With Children after going through a divorce and having a hard time finding resources and services to help her get her life back on track.  While her Adopt-a-Family program helps meet immediate needs, Patricia believes strongly in helping people discover their natural skills and talents and putting those skills to work.  Her "I Got Talent" event and her "I Dare to Dream" programs are a testimony to her belief that the human spirit can always soar in the right conditions.  You can reach out to her here by filling in the form on her site.
